Abstract
This work performs numerical and experimental studies of coupled mode dynamics for monolithic semiconductor ring lasers. This study presents numerical analysis and experimental results of the different operating regimes, namely: bidirectional CW, bidirectional with harmonic oscillations of the mode intensities, and unidirectional.
