Abstract :
New setup is designed to further increase the motional control over the atom(s) in the optical cavity, using cooling and trapping techniques. Results on cavity loading scheme by means of various types of optical dipole traps are presented. The ideas on the subsequent cooling of the atoms are also discussed.
