Abstract :
The object of this work is to test a Si PIN photodiode as a photovaractor. Impedance of the photodiode is measured in dark and under illumination. Also, the photodiode is tested as a load at the end of the cable stub. The cable stub with the photodiode performs like an optically controlled equivalent λ/4 cable.
