Abstract :
In this paper, an improved carrier frequency offset blind estimation approach in OFDM system, based on time domain signal reconstructed by data after decision and channel estimation, has been addressed. By analyzing some aspects that affect estimation accuracy, an optimal feedback factor is introduced into frequency offset compensation. By selecting an optimal feedback factor, improvement in performance can be attained. This estimator has the advantage of high accuracy even on low SNR conditions, but its implementation is relatively simple.
