Abstract :
In order to use Chua´s circuit in the broadband chaotic communication, the bandwidth of the original Chua´s circuit should be expanded. In this paper, we propose a new scheme to implement Chua´s circuit with a tunnel diode to expand the bandwidth of the circuit. The simulation result indicates that there exists of a double-scroll chaotic attractor in the state space and the highest frequency components are noticeable as far as 180 MHz. To understand the formation of the double scroll in this circuit structure, we also present a methodology approach to analyze the dynamic behavior in the state space.
