Abstract :
The specification of the servo controller developed to realize a high speed positioning of X-Y stage is re-evaluated. This paper deals with effects of sampling period and quantization from the viewpoint of a response and a limit cycle. From the comparison results of the simulation and the experiment of positioning response, the validity of the specification is confirmed.
