  • Abstract
    This paper presents basic idea including the background, the goal and issues, and research organization of the Yaoyorozu Project that pursues the required institutional systems as well as technological specifications for ubiquitous information society in 2010. Designing the future information society calls for cooperative study of technological knowledge and societal perspectives. So far, successful cooperative studies have been very seldom so that the Yaoyorozu Project introduces systems technology as the trans-disciplinary science and technology that plays a catalyzing role among diversified disciplines.
