Uncertainty assessment on the calibration of Pt/Pd thermocouples at the freezing point of silver

For the uncertainty assessment on the calibration of Pt/Pd thermocouples at the freezing point of silver, uncertainty components in relation to the reference junction, the change of the thermocouple emf, and the thermocouple inhomogeneity were estimated. By combining these and other components obtained elsewhere, the expanded uncertainty (k=2) was estimated to be approximately 0.10/spl deg/C.
