Abstract :
Real-time accurate positioning of a vehicle when driving yields accurate navigation. One of the most popular positioning systems employs differential GPS to determine vehicle position. This paper describes a new method for real-time positioning that fuses differential GPS and the vehicle´s local sensors including a speedometer and optical fiber gyroscope.
