Abstract
Projection neurons in the marginal layer of the spinal dorsal horn have been proposed to play an important role for central sensitization. Here, we report a novel method for imaging the neuronal activity from projection neurons to the brainstem in the marginal layer of the spinal dorsal horn by using a retrogradely transported voltage-sensitive dye.
