Abstract :
This paper concerns a new measuring technique for continuous weighing by a multi-stage conveyor belt scale to realize much higher speed of operation and highly accurate weighing. A new algorithm used for the scale is proposed so that the total mass of the product can be estimated by the summation of outputs from the load-cells.
