Abstract :
This paper is concerned with blind source separation (BSS) in which the source signals are instantaneously mixed in unknown linear and nonlinear processes. A coherent function is introduced to the criterion for BSS as well as mutual information to compensate nonlinear distortions in the mixture. Effectiveness of the proposed method is validated in BSS of male and female voice signals.
