Abstract
In this paper, we propose a method for assigning poles for three-dimensional systems described by the state-space model. In this method, we perform the state feedback and input transformation containing two-dimensional dynamic compensators on the given three-dimensional systems, so that we let the denominator polynomials of the transfer functions of the closed-loop systems coincide with the product of three one-dimensional polynomials whose roots are in the unit circle.
