Abstract
A model following control (MFC) system can give general output signals following the desired ones. Since the MFC permits general signals as desired ones, the range of application is very wide. This paper proposes a new method of pulse raise & lower point calculation. The MFC is used to design a single phase PWM inverter. This method can be applied to any kind of discrete-time servo control. We use the discrete-time MFC to PWM controller. This controller eliminates offset steady-state. MFC is optimal according to control law, minimizing a quadratic function.
