The contribution of control engineering to Korean industry

This article talks the brief introduction about the control engineering of Korea in last 10 years. It shows that the control application in Korea has been changed very rapidly from the elementary control stage such as the assembly process to the various application stages such as the IT-related control application. History of automation in an electronic company, Samsung Electronics that had the most dramatic changes in Korea and the various experiences in the automation and manufacturing in several fields is presented.
