  • Abstract
    An apparatus for thermocouple calibration at the freezing point of zinc (419.527/spl deg/C) was evaluated. The stability, repeatability and temperature distribution along the thermometer well of the furnace, as well as the effect of the surroundings temperature were investigated as uncertainty components.
