Abstract :
Five base metal thermocouples(Type E,J,K,N,T) are heat-treated at 350 degrees Celsius, 840 hours and 400 degrees Celsius, 452 hours. After heat-treatment inhomogeneity of each thermo-element of five base metal thermocouples is measured. Also resistance change of each thermo-element due to heat-treatment is measured. We describe the results of inhomogeneity of thermo-electromotive force and resistance change of each thermo-element. We discussed relationship between thermo-electromotive force due to inhomogeneity and resistance change.
