Abstract
The research of industry control applications in Taiwan are mainly carried by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and the National Science Council (NSC) through universities. Although research teams in private companies in general are in small size, both ITRI and universities provide technical supports for industries to meet their needs. Taiwan NSC also supports some medium/small-scale research projects to promote the joint research between university and industry. Professors and their groups bring new technologies and concepts like vision applications on inspection, virtual reality, servo motor design, IC fabrication, and remote monitoring technologies.
