Abstract :
A spectral analysis of signals experiencing nonstationary stochastic time-shifts also known as jitters or phase noise, is presented. Without referring to the notion of phase noise spectrum, we derive explicit formulas for the average spectrum of such signals arising in various applications, in particular mixers and data converters.
