Abstract :
This paper describes a current-mode interface cascade COG(CiCC) for TFT-LCD systems. It is composed to cascade COG scheme, current-mode transmitter, and receiver circuits. The advantage of CiCC is very low power consumption and low EMI using 200μA signal current between transmitter and receiver. The applicability of the CiCC was verified not only by experimental chip measurement but also prototype panel display.
