Abstract :
This work presents a preliminary study on a minimal type of model representation for antenna systems. Pole/residue modeling of antenna systems provides a complete frequency and time domain antenna characterization, the minimal representation model (minimal data set required to represent an antenna), and the model can be used with channel models in order to predict the received time-domain/frequency waveform. The antenna model parameters are the poles and residues of the antenna system.
