Abstract
The game of Lemmings has been offered as a new Drosophila for AI research. Yet the authors have no knowledge of any efforts to create a computer player for Lemmings. This paper presents a scaled down version of Lemmings and offers an evolutionary approach to solving maps. Scripts are evolved using a genetic algorithm. Results show that this approach is able to solve increasingly complex maps.
