Abstract :
In this paper, an evaluating method of array patterns is presented. This method considers all the mutual coupling effects. It consists in assuming that the field of an element is the sum of two distinct modes: an antenna mode and a diffraction mode. Good results are obtained for a finite linear dipole array.
