Abstract
We describe the optimization theory of a subarray feed line that determines the lengths of the fine-tuning cables with the least-square method by using the S-parameters of array antenna components. In this way, we can determine the optimal lengths at once and can reduce the sidelobe of antenna arrays with the multiple reflections of subarray feed circuits taken into consideration. We confirm the validity of this theory by simulation and measurement results.
