  • Abstract
    A dual and wide band aperture stacked patch antenna with double-sided notches is presented. By proper choice of the notch dimensions, aperture size and foam material height, a dual and wide band operation can be realized. The impedance bandwidth (1:2 VSWR) of the antenna´s lower band reaches 124 MHz and upper band has a bandwidth of as large as 663 MHz. Good broadside radiation characteristics have also been observed.
