Abstract
The development of very small antennas plays a significant role in the miniaturization of handheld devices. By the use of capacitive and/or inductive loading the antenna size can be strongly decreased. In this paper a symmetric build up of a dual band planar inductively and capacitively loaded very small antenna which benefits from symmetrical feeding is investigated. The method of moments (MOM) is used to model the antenna and measurements are carried out for verification.
