Abstract
Scene structure can be recovered from images taken under different visibility conditions. We propose a new method using derivatives of images in order to accomplish this. Two images of the same scene are needed, each acquired from the same viewpoint under different conditions of visibility. Our approach was tested with images of both virtual and real scenes and results confirm its validity.
