  • Abstract
Both depth and intensity are important information for face recognition. In this paper, based on 3D face modelling, we extract depth features and intensity features respectively, and further compare their capacity to characterize the individuals in our database, 3DPEF. The experimental results show that depth information is more important than intensity information for recognition under the same condition. This work is a good reference to the future work on face recognition.
