Abstract :
Shanghai is selected to be the one of the cities where the power market is planned to set up as an experiment on separation of generation from transmission and distribution network, and had got great achievements. This paper introduces briefly the setting up of Shanghai power generation market, its operation rules, its economic compensation rules of electric energy quality and ancillary services, and other information. It is expect that, according to the problem had happened in Shanghai power generation market, a series of new theories and methods are provided to enhance the reliability, security, economic and fair trading of the power market.
