Abstract
Optical techniques have the potential to overcome bandwidth and speed limitations for the generation of complex modulated microwave signals. In our talk, we present a photonic integrated circuit architecture comprising high-speed phase shifters and delay lines for broadband microwave vector modulation with symbol rates in the order of multiple Gigabit/sec and higher.
