Abstract
In 1993, Lin and Liu proposed an axioms for approximate operators in rough set theory. Subsequently, Yao extended to binary relations for finite universe. In this paper, we extend to the axiom to arbitrary universes. We also include an observation about defining the notion of clustering by binary granulation.
