Abstract
A nonlinear PIN diode distortion model for harmonic balance circuit simulators is presented. The mathematical background for understanding and implementing the model is reviewed and the model is verified against analytical results. Good agreement between the two is shown which indicates its suitability for use in high performance harmonic balance circuit simulators.
