Abstract :
The concept of the non-fragile robust performance is presented so that the system with the perturbations of the controlled members and the controllers can be designed, which cannot be done by the conventional μ-synthesis. As the quantity of steam of the gasifier hardly influences the heat value of the coal gas and the disturbance concept of the robust control is adopted, it is also suggested that the design problem of the non-fragile robust performance to the gasifier as a MIMO system can be formulated the revised μ-synthesis problem about two SISO systems. The perturbations of the controllers can be converted those of the controlled members by the transformation of the mathematical model. The selections of the weighting functions are discussed. The simple solution of the non-fragile robust PI controllers of the SISO system is studied. The parameters of the PI controllers are designed. The simulation results show that the proposed method is efficient and feasible.
