Abstract :
In this paper, switching controller consisting of stabilization controller and induced controller is designed for the ball and beam system. In case that system states within the stabilization region the closed system can be exponentially by the stabilization controller, otherwise, system states can be induced by the induced controller to the stabilization region, and then switched to stabilization controller. Simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the switching control, and the method is summarized in the conclusion.
