Abstract :
In order to improve the robustness of the electromagnetic suspension system of MAGLEV, the sliding mode controller is designed and applied, but the chattering phenomenon deteriorates the stabilization of system. The fuzzy controller is introduced in the boundary layer to slow down the speed of the states crossing the sliding surface. Through experiments, some conclusions can be drawn: this kind of fuzzy sliding mode controller has excellent robustness and the system chattering is smoothed.
