Abstract :
This work proposes phase-modulation-shift-keying, where sinusoidal phase modulation is put ON/OFF onto intensity modulated data according to digital label. Optical label is directly detected by adding dispersion. Packet-by-packet dispersion compensation can be achieved by this method.
