Abstract :
We determined the femtosecond nonlinear phase and amplitude spectra in GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells using a polarization-division Sagnac interferometer. The nonlinear dispersion around the excitonic resonance can be explained by ultrafast neutralization of the built-in field.
