Abstract :
We report the polycrystalline Cr/sup 2+/:ZnSe laser, pumped by the 1.85 /spl mu/m InGaAsP/InP laser diode and Er-fiber laser. The output power is 42 and 520 mW at a slope efficiency of 23 and 53 %, respectively.
