Abstract :
A pulsed diode pumped Nd:YAG rod-laser system has been frequency stabilized with a modified Pound-Drever-Hall scheme. It delivers 35 ns pulses in up to 0.5 J at 1064 nm with M/sup 2/=1.5 and 0.25 J at 532 nm at 100 Hz rep.-rate.
