Abstract :
We report wavelength-conversion in a nonlinear optical loop mirror consisting of polarization-maintaining photonic crystal fiber. The large birefringence allowed cross-phase modulation to occur between orthogonal polarized signal and control separated in wavelength over 150 nm.
