Abstract :
Ultra-low-loss four-port resonant filters (add/drop geometry) using ultra-high-Q toroid micro-cavities on a chip with waveguide-to-waveguide drop efficiency of 93%, and throughput extinction of 33 dB for narrow bandwidth (57 MHz) operation are demonstrated.
