Abstract :
The magnitude and spatial distribution of second order nonlinearities induced by a static electric field in ferroelectric domain wall regions are characterized for periodically-poled KTiOPO/sub 4/. The nonlinearities can be employed for characterizing quasi-phasematched structures.
