Abstract :
We demonstrated effective optical gain clamping for gain-flattened S-band discrete Raman amplifier. Gain flattening is achieved by pumping at multiple wavelengths. Minimum input signal dynamic range is over 18 dB in different cases of lasing wavelengths.
