Abstract :
We report on a dual-frequency Er:Yb:glass laser at 1.53 /spl mu/m. The frequency difference can be tuned from 100 MHz to 20 GHz, and phase-locked to a microwave reference in order to achieve low phase noise (-130 dBc/Hz).
