  • Abstract
    A microring-resonator-coupled laser is demonstrated using an EDFA and a GaInAsP-InP microring. Integrated SOA can greatly compensate the high optical loss associated with the microring resonator and reduce the threshold of a microring-resonator-coupled laser.
