Abstract :
We show all-fiber chirped pulse amplification using an air-core photonic bandgap fiber for recompression. 400 fs pulses at 1.55 /spl mu/m were stretched to several tens of picoseconds in a dispersion compensating fiber and recompressed down to /spl sim/1 ps.
