Abstract :
We show error-free 10 Gbit/s, 25 GHz channel spaced transmission over 8/spl times/100 km SSMF without in-line dispersion compensation fiber. This is achieved using phase conjugation via cascaded sum and difference frequency generation in periodically poled lithium niobate waveguides.
