Abstract :
We report all-optical multichannel signal up-conversion using difference frequency generation in a quasi-phase-matched LiNbO/sub 3/ waveguide device. Link performance for 20-GHz optical microwave system was examined with three 1-Gbit/s data streams and error-free transmission was achieved.
