Abstract
This work presents a permanent magnetic linear synchronous motor with short pitch and special structure. Thrust and attractive forces at static state have been studied. Fluctuation of the thrust force in a period is obviously lower than general linear motor. Magnetic fields and forces have also been analysed according to the different situations as varying currents or positions. Experiments prove that calculation results are successful. Driving system with the motor has good performances of fast response and high precision.
