Abstract :
An improved V-A characteristics of ideal switches is proposed, which has been applied to the coupled field-circuit dynamic simulation in the brushless DC motor (BLDCM). By means of this method, the circuit equations can be constructed with only one topology, and the switch states can be detected automatically, which enables the versatile of the simulation. Comparing the simulation results and the experimental observation, the satisfaction of the presented method is confirmed.
